Atomrobot automated collaborative code robot optimizes the traditional ice bag stacking method with just three steps, making it easy to handle automated ice bag stacking. The entire process is fast, accurate, stable, and flexible.
STEP1: Ice bag box size and weight recognition
STEP2: Optimal path planning for ice bag stacking
STEP3: Automated grabbing and stacking of ice bags
Customer Demand
- Ice pack box weight 16kg-17.5kg
- Need to achieve a packing and palletizing height of 1600mm
- Automated palletizing with a single grabbing cycle of 2-3 boxes/minute
Project difficulties
- The customer requests that the automated collaborative palletizing robot add AGV handling trays to the subsequent process, achieving seamless connection between the palletizing robot and AGV process.
- The stacking height is 1600mm, and the AGV tray placement height is 450mm. Without selecting the lifting version model, the total stacking height needs to be 2050mm, while leaving enough height space for AQV. This increases the tray placement height and makes the installation position of the tray detection sensor a major difficulty.
Solution
Without selecting the lifting version, the problem of high-level palletizing, AGV tray handling, and tray detection sensor tray placement bracket installation can be solved by increasing the height of the collaborative code robot body base (700mm according to the factory conditions), achieving automated joint and collaborative work between the collaborative code robot and AGV.
advantage
- Single palletizing can save 2 workers
- Support 24-hour continuous production
- Reduce the risk of injury during manual high-level palletizing
